BREAKING: 79 Turkish soldiers killed by HPG Guerrillas!

CENTRAL NEWS

HPG (Peoples Protection Forces) Press Centre shared the following details about an action taken in Bazid:

“As of March 2, at 8.50 am, our forces carried out a comprehensive revolutionary operation against a military convoy of the invading Turkish army, advancing on the road between the district of Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) and Gürbulak village, within the scope of the Revolutionary Victory Movement in Serhat Province.

In this action where 3 buses in the convoy and a Cobra type armoured vehicle were put under intense fire from close range, 2 buses and a Cobra type armoured vehicle were destroyed and 1 bus was hit.

The soldiers who tried to intervene in the action were targeted by our forces. Our forces hit these military units with sabotage tactics.

As a result of this revolutionary operation, 79 soldiers were killed in total. Following the action, the invading forces removed dozens of ambulances and dead and wounded soldiers from the area. Our unit, which carried out the action, has reached the base areas firmly. ”
