HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) shared the details of a series of actions carried out in the province of Serhat. The forces disclosed that 25 occupation soldiers of the terrorist Turkish state were killed. The statement is as follows:
“Our forces carried out actions against the invading Turkish army within the scope of the Revolutionary Victory Movement in progress in the Serhat Province. In this context;
On March 21, at 09.45, our forces undertook fire by targeting a hedgehog type armoured vehicle patrolling on the road of Kozili outpost in the district of Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) of Ağrı. Explosions occurred in the armoured vehicle that was hit effectively and the vehicle was completely destroyed.
Following the action, 2 sabotage actions were carried out against the enemy units coming to the scene for intervention. A total of 24 enemy soldiers were killed and many soldiers were wounded in these action sequences.
Our unit organising the action has reached the base areas firmly.
On March 17, an assassination action was carried out by our forces against the soldiers on the security hill of Vedat Özkaya police station in the district of Bazid. In this action, 1 soldier was killed.
The warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army carried out air strikes against the Media Defense Zones. In this context;
On March 20, at around 5.30 pm, the warplanes bombed Süleyman and Kartal Hills of the Avashin region, the Goşine area of the Xakurkê region and the Zap region.
We did not experience any loss in these bombardments.”
