In a statement made by HBDH it was announced that one fascist police was killed and two fascist police were injured in an action organised by Martyr Delal Amed Revenge Unit in Istanbul. In a statement made by HBDH, it was stated that the action was carried out against the massacres committed in Gazi and Sur, as an indicator of determination in their 4th year of struggle.
The entire statement made by HBDH is as follows:
“On 11 March 2020, an action against was organised by HBDH Martyr Delal Amed Revenge Militia against a police car between 03:00-04:00 in the Kanarya neighbourhood of the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul on March 11, 2020.
In the action carried out by our units, a police vehicle was hit with long-barrelled weapons. 1 police officer in the police vehicle targeted in the action was killed and 2 police officers injured. Our forces withdrew safely from the area after the action and returned to their points.”
The Revenge Unit shared that the action was made to commemorate all the immortalised martyrs of the epic resistance in Sur in the person of Commander of the Sur Resistance, Martyr Ciyager, who fell on March 12.
The Unit added that they commemorate those who resisted against the states barricades in Gazi district for days and were eventually massacred on March 12, 1995. “Continuing its bloody tradition, the Turkish state and the AKP-MHP fascist government continue to attack the Kurdish people, the working class and women in the same way today.
AKP-MHP, who carried out massacres with bombs in the Sur Resistance, in Cizre, attacked the people and the revolutionaries in Gazi with their police and tanks and tried to take away all the rights of the working class and women. The AKP-MHP is the continuation of the fascism which committed murder in factories, mines, shipyards, houses and streets.
The essence of the AKP-MHP fascism is based on the exploitation of the oppressed. The basis of the AKP-MHP fascism is the bloody-state tradition, which bases its foundation on the denial and destruction of Kurdistan.
The same state today tries to intimidate revolutionaries, opponents, Kurds, resisting women and workers. As HBDH, which declared its establishment in Gazi streets and free spaces on March 12, 2016, we entered our 4th year in the fight against AKP-MHP fascism.
With the contributions of thousands of comrades such as Aynur Ada, Ulaş Adalı, Baran Serhat, Ceren Güneş, Orhan Bakırcıyan and Delal Amed, we have grown the united revolutionary war. We showed great resistance against AKP-MHP fascism in the fronts and cities. With our actions, we became the fear of the enemy and its collaborators. We did not give comfort to the invader, fascist, misogynist power and partners.”
The Militia concluded: “As HBDH, we warn the AKP-MHP fascism collaborators, the police, the guards placed by the fascist government in the neighbourhoods, and all the supportive structures. As HBDH, we are everywhere at any time! We will continue to ask you for an account.”
