HATAY, SYRIA
A large number of dead and wounded soldiers were brought to Turkey-occupied Hatay from Idlib, where more than 150 invading Turkish soldiers died on February 27 as a result of the attacks by Russian warplanes and Syrian Regime forces.
The military operations of the Syrian regime forces in Idlib, which is partially under the occupation of the invading Turkish state, continues.
In the evening, military points belonging to the Turkish army were bombed in the Seraqib and Neyreb regions of Idlib. After the bombardment, dozens of ambulances entered the Turkey-occupied Syrian city of Hatay which neighbours Idlib.
The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR) announced that the points of the invading Turkish army in the villages of Tirnebe and Mestûma in the west of Seraqîb were bombed by artillery shooting, and at least 4 Turkish soldiers were killed and 7 soldiers were injured. It was informed that the wounded Turkish soldiers were taken out of the region by helicopters.
SOHR also stated that the Turkish state’s armed unmanned aerial vehicles (SİHA) bombed the points of Syrian regime forces in the village of Mîrza in the west of Hama and in the Maaret al-Numan region.
Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar declared that only one soldier died in Idlib in the evening. However, no details were given as to where and under which conditions he was killed.
