BAGHDAD, IRAQ
According to a statement made by the Iraqi military commandership, 10 rockets were fired this Wednesday at an Iraqi military base where American soldiers are located.
It was noted that 2 US and 1 British soldiers have been killed and 11 soldiers have been injured in the rocket attack on Taji military base in Iraq. Since late October, 22 attacks have been reported against American soldiers.
An American officer and an Iraqi soldier were killed in further attacks on American facilities. No reaction was undertaken, but Washington blamed pro-Iranian formations.
