TEV-DEM Co-Presidency made a call for action to all Kurdish people and political and social institutions, saying “Today is the day to act with historical responsibility,” calling for action. The TEV-DEM description is as follows:
“The fire in Imrali is not an ordinary event. This situation cannot be handled independently from the isolation and torture practices that have been imposed on Leader Abdullah Öcalan for 21 years. We have serious doubts and concerns about the cause of the fire.
Both independent delegations and lawyers should go to İmralı as soon as possible to uncover the backstage of this fire in İmralı, to obtain healthy information about the situation of Leader Abdullah Öcalan and to share it with the public.
It is a historical responsibility for all our people, our political and social organizations to adopt Leader Abdullah Öcalan as a stance and in action. Today is the day to embrace our leadership. This is the day of taking action with historical responsibility. ”
