GIRE SPI, ROJAVA
The occupying Turkish forces and their jihadist military groups continue their daily violations of civilians in Gire Spi, among other occupied areas. With the early morning hours, a group of mercenaries and so-called Turkish-backed military police, ambushed bridges and night lanes, later charging the houses of civilians at dawn.
According to sources from the region, the military police broke down the doors and windows of the houses, immorally provoking families within the pretext of searching for wanted persons from the Syrian Democratic Forces.
The sources confirmed that the incursion was led by mercenary “Mustafa al-Dibu”, nicknamed Abu Raad, an intelligence official working in the mercenaries fraction of the Turkish national army. Abu Raad was previously organised with the Al-Nusra Front. Also identified in the morning-ambush were jihadist mercenaries Ammar Abu Nour, Operations Officer, and Abu Mutasim, responsible for Gire Spi.
The sources witnessing the events disclosed that following the ambush, tensions rose between civilians and the jihadist mercenaries of the terrorist Turkish army. The source shared that the mercenaries later closed all the entrances to the city and that heavy gunfire was heard in the city.
The sources indicated that the mercenaries Ali al-Sarraj and Abu Raad were responsible for the forces that raided the houses and forced the women to undress. The jihadists are now sheltering in the Turkish base at a former Asayish centre in Tel Abyad.
