Russian state-controlled media outlets are pointing to the US for using bioweapons, namely the Coronavirus, against China. The claims are that the US is using economic and military tools to cripple Chinas economy, the world’s second largest economy and Russia’s most powerful ally. It is contended that the 2019-nCoV is an American biowarfare weapon developed by US scientists and covertly launched by American spies to destroy rival China.
Citing unnamed sources, the Russian website Katushya.org alleges the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), China’s armed forces, is claiming the coronavirus was artificially produced in US laboratories with the goal of destroying China from within. The website contends the outbreak is a US bioweaponry reconnaissance operation with the goal of testing the capabilities of Chinese biological weapons defences.
The economic height of the potential attack was analysed by Topcor.ru, which asserts the coronavirus is America’s revenge on China for the ongoing trade war that’s cost the US billions of dollars. The analysis relates the US will benefit immensely from the damage the coronavirus will inflict on China’s economy.
