HPG Press Center reported that the warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army carried out airstrikes against the Media Defense Zones. The details shared are as follows:
“On February 27, fighter jets bombed the Yekmalê village area in the Metina region at 14.00 and the Şikeftiya village area in the Gare region at 18.00.
On February 26, at 12:00, the warplanes bombed the Martyr Diren area of the Avasin region.
On the same day at 16:00, the invading Turkish army targeted a civilian vehicle in the village of Sida in the Zap region. A citizen named Xelil İbrahim Sidani from the town of Şeladize was martyred in this attack carried out by the massacring Turkish state.
Civilian citizens coming to their lands in the old villages of Sida village were deliberately targeted in the observation of the unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to the invading Turkish army. This invading mentality, which has repeatedly murdered civilians with unhumbled methods, tries to scare and intimidate the local people.
In this area, our civilian citizens have been targeted many times and dozens of our citizens have been martyred. While it is the basic duty of the Kurdistan guerrilla to ask the Kurds for the account of the massacres carried out by this mentality which does not comprehend anything other than death, it should be known that the blood of our murdered people will not be left on the ground.
We wish our condolences to Xelil İbrahim Sidani’s family and the patriotic Kurdistan people who were martyred in this attack, and we promise that we will keep the memories of our martyrs alive by bringing our struggle to victory. ”
