ŞENGAL, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
A mass march was held against the isolation and other dirty practices of the occupying Turkish state in Imrali under the leadership of the YCÊ (Yekîtiya Ciwanên Êzîdî) and YJCÊ (Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwanên Êzîdî) in Şengal.
Young people and citizens gathered in front of the youth centre and marched towards the city centre with posters of the peoples’ leader Abdullah Öcalan, chanting the slogans “Be Serok Jiyan Nabe” (No life without leader) )and “Bijî Serok Apo” (Long live leader Apo).
The action ended with a statement made by Xelil Şengalî on behalf of the youth. Şengalî said, “We are with our Leadership as the Êzîdî youth. We will take actions until we get healthy information from our leader. ”
