A civil disobedience action was held in Paris yesterday morning, demanding that lawyers and an independent delegation have an immediate meeting with Öcalan, on the island of Imrali.
Kurdish youth, who carried out civil disobedience actions against the Russia Today (RT) channel in Paris, demanded an end to the heavy isolation conditions imposed on Öcalan, the People’s Leader, by the fascist Turkish state.
The demonstrators held a meeting with a journalist working on the RT channel, describing the latest situation of Peoples Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
BİELEFELD, GERMANY
Kurdistanis and the friends of the Kurds came together in Bielefeld, Germany, and took an action in front of the central train station demanding information about the safety and health of the People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Organising per the call made by Jinên Ciwan ên Azad and Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger, a banner reading “No life without our leader” was opened. The demonstrators chanted, “Long live Öcalan”, and “Öcalan is the people, the people are here.”
The fascist German police, attempting to sabotage the action, attempted to attack the people citing the photos of the Peoples’ Leader as a justification. Facing the resistance of thousands of angry Kurds, the German police were forced to retreat.
DUİSBURG, GERMANY
Kurdish people and internationalists poured to the streets of Europe today, following the suspicious fire on Imrali island and no convincing information as to the health and safety of the Peoples’ Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
Demanding that lawyers and an independent delegation to go to İmralı island to meet with Peoples Leader Öcalan, a rally was held by dozens who came together at Duisburg Central Königstr.
In the statement made by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Jinên Ciwan ên Azad, it was stated that the Kurdish people and their friends are deeply concerned about the health of the People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is being held hostage by the Turkish state for the past 21 years.
The young person stated, “we are concerned about the health of Öcalan. “We do not accept the isolation being imposed on Öcalan, who the Kurdish People accept as Leader and called their will, and we demand that the isolation be removed immediately.”
