A resident of the Sheikh Miskin town to the north-west of rural Daraa, it has been established that the civilian died after being intensively tortured in the regime’s security prisons following his arrest a year ago.
“The number of civilians killed in regime prisons rises to 16,157 civilians,” the Syrian Observatory shared. Highlighting that 15,969 men, 125 children under the age of eighteen and 64 women have been killed in torture since the beginning of the Syrian revolution, the Observatory disclosed that the Syrian regime currently holds 104,000 people detained.
