ROJAVA, WESTERN KURDISTAN
In a written statement, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) detailed attacks made by the invading Turkish state and it’s terrorist proxies in the Rojava and Northern Syria regions from 9-12 January. The SDF stated that “the invading Turkish state and its affiliated gangs continue their attacks to expand their occupation activities.” The information shared by the Forces is as follows:
EYN İSA
“The Eyn Isa checkpoint was bombed by unmanned aerial vehicles on 9 January. A civilian and a member of the public order were wounded in the bombing. On the same day, the invading army attacked the village of Hoshan on the international M4 road with heavy weapons and howitzers. As a result of the attack, damage occurred to the properties belonging to civilians.”

“On 10 and 11 January, the invading Turkish army and gangs bombed the villages of Erîda, Şorbê Nisk and Qiz Ali with mortars and howitzers. As a result of the bombing, civilians suffered financial damage.”

“The invading Turkish army and its affiliated gangs targeted the area close to Dugir village on 12 January at 13:00 where civilian internal security institutions were in charge. As a result of the attack, two internal security forces and one civilian citizen were martyred. Many civilians were injured as a result of the bombing. The invading Turkish state has continued its violations since the ceasefire was declared.”
