RANYA, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
Jinên Ciwanên Tekoşer (Young Womans Struggle) and Gencanî Welatparez (Matriotic Youth) released a press statement on the massacre of Til Rifat, in the city of Ranya, Southern Kurdistan. The youth also touched on the massacre by ISIS in Xaneqin.
The yotuh stated that the occupation attacks are aimed at all 4 parts of Kurdistan. The explanation is as follows:
“As it is known, the Rojava Revolution has been in existence for nearly 8 years. Kurdistan is the achievement of a moral, democratic and human revolution.
The invading Turkish state and its gangs are carrying out a brutal and inhuman attack on this revolution created under the leadership of young people and women. These attacks, which were carried out without any respect for human rights, targeted the people who had migrated from Efrîn. Women and children were martyred in the attacks against the people who immigrated to Til Rifat.
Likewise, 4 peshmerga martyrs were killed and 1 peshmerga was injured in the attack of ISIS gangs in Xaneqin. The aim of the occupying Turkish state is not to target only Rojava Kurdistan, but all of 4-part Kurdistan.
As Jinên Ciwanên Tekoşer and Gencanî Tekoşer, we address all young women and women from Southern Kurdistan. Don’t be silent in the face of these attacks. Silence is death and help the enemy. We will become the shield of our people. ”
