SDF share identities of 8 martyrs of the Rojava revolution

The SDF has shared the indentities of 8 martyrs who have become immortalised in the Rojava resistance of honour. The statement released by the SDF is as follows:

“In the history of the Rojava Revolution, it has witnessed unprecedented heroism and great resistance. Against the war of denial and annihilation by the occupants against our people, a group of bouncers who realise a people’s dreams of freedom, carry out a voluntary struggle with great faith and determination against the invaders.

Another resistance was the War of Resistance of the Age that marked the Rojava and Northern Syrian revolution.

Under the leadership of YPG-YPJ and SDF, there was a tremendous resistance against the invading Turkish army and gangs. Our comrade Rizgar Dêrik, the great commander, reached martyrdom by resisting against the invasion of the invading Turkish state and gangs. Just like Avesta, Karker and many heroes who became the symbols of resistance of the era.

We will increase our resistance with the spirit of our comrades Rizgar Dêrîk, Avrîn, Bawer, Cîhan, Çekdar, Goran and Zerdeşt against any destruction and denial attacks against our country and our people.

Our comrade Rizgar Dêrik, the great commander, was born and raised in a matriotic family in the city of Dêrik in Rojava. Comrade Rizgar, who has played a leading role against ISIS on all fronts since the beginning of the Rojava Revolution, has become a source of morale in life from the day he joined the Northern Syrian revolution, up till his martyrdom.

He showed his pioneering and commanding personality at every moment of the war.

Comrade Rizgar, who exhibited tremendous resistance against the occupying forces with a bold and strong commanding stance, fulfilled his duties and responsibilities in the Rojava and Northern Syrian revolution with great passion and determination.

We reiterate that we will protect the free and democratic Rojava Revolution by commemorating Rizgar Dêrik and bringing his memory and struggle to victory.
