The SDF Press Center has released a three-day balance-sheet of updates in the Rojava resistance of honour.
Stating that “the occupying army and gang groups targeted the civilian settlements in Til Temir, Serêkaniyê and Eyn İsa regions with heavy weapons and howitzers”, the SDF shared details about the attacks and clashes of ISIS gangs in Derazor and Reqa. The statement released is as follows:
EYN İSA
“Gang groups belonging to the occupying army bombed the villages of Xalidiyê and Hoşan with howitzers. The villages of Kopirik and Erida and the civil settlements around Qizali, Fatisa, Bir Isa and Bir Timih wheat warehouse and the positions of Syrian army forces were subjected to bombings of the occupying army with the guidance of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
As a result of the attacks, a large number of civilians in the region were forced to emigrate and the civil settlements were damaged. With the response of the Syrian army forces, there were casualties from the invading army and their gangs.”
SERÊKANİYÊ
“Gang groups belonging to the occupying army attacked the Mişrefa village with heavy weapons. Damage occurred in civilian settlements as a result of the attack.”
REQA AND DERAZOR
“ISIS’s secret cells carried out bomb attacks on the bases of our forces in Reqa and Derazor. On December 28, ISIS cells attacked SDF forces. Two gang members were killed and three gang members escaped from the clashes between our forces and the gangs.
Two of our friends were martyred during the bombing of the occupying army against Eyn Isa.
At least 5 elements of the occupying army and their gangs were killed by the response of the Syrian army forces. ”
