ROJAVA, WESTERN KURDISTAN
Tevgera Ciwanen Şoreşger (Revolutionairy Youth Movement) and Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwan (Young Womens Union) promised to rain fire on the Turkish state for targeting the children of Til Rifat, following a massacre carried out by the Turkish state against children who were playing on the streets.
In their statement, the Youth drew attention to this massacre not being the first across the lands of Kurdistan where children have been so dishonourably targeted. The statement as released by the youth is as follows:
“On October 9, the invading Turkish state and its gangs started a massacre and pillage war on Rojava Kurdistan and northern Syria, and during the occupation attacks the jihadist Turkish State used chemical and forbidden weapons on our people. A cultural, demographic, economic, social, political and ecological massacre was initiated. Erdoğan and his gangs are using the state’s male-dominated mindset, bullying and games on our people.
So far, the invasion attacks on Kurdistan in Rojava and northern Syria are continuing. Only yesterday the invading Turkish state carried out massacres in Til Rifat against immigrant families who had to emigrate from Turkish-state-occupied Efrîn. The invading Turkish state and its gangs inhumanely bombed civilians in Til Rifat, 10 civilians were killed and 8 of these civilians were children.
When Erdogan and his gangs could not break the will of our people, they started to feed on the blood of our children. This is not the first attack of the invading Turkish state, which has always targeted Kurdish children from Northern and Western Kurdistan. The same thing happened in Til Rifat today, just like the Kurdish children and people were massacred in Roboski on 28 December 2011. Til Rifat is the continuation of the Roboski massacre.
As Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwan, we call on all the Kurdish youth, especially in Rojava Kurdistan and Northern Syrian, to mobilize. We appeal to the youth of the whole world to join the YPG / YPJ ranks against these massacres and invasion attacks. Everyone must take their place in the Cenga Rojava Resistance against the Erdogan dictatorship, as this war which has been launched will soon land on everyones doorstep if it is not stopped.
Lastly, let Erdogan be absolutely sure that we will be the end of him. For every single drop of the blood of babies which floods our soil, we will become the fire which rains on you. The deafening cries of those children will not go unheard until every one of us are martyred. Your end is our promise, as the youth of this country we will dedicate our lives to to suffocate you.”
