QAMIŞLO, ROJAVA
A march and rally was led by the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Qamishlo, protesting the massacre of 10 civilians, 8 of which were children on their way out of school.
The march began under the motto: “We will drown Turkish fascism in the blood of the children massacred in Til Rifat.”
Hundreds participated in the march which began at the junction of Martyr Rubar. Carrying the flags of PYD, Syrian Democratic Council, posters of the People’s Leader Öcalan and photographs of the children martyrs of Til rafat; the revolutionairy peoples marched to Siyahi Street.
The peoples chanted “Fascist Erdoğan, Terrorist Erdoğan, Bijî Berxwedana YPG-YPJ and QSD, Bijî Berxwedana Til Rifat.”
Speaking in front of the International Immigrants building, PYD member, Adalet Omer stated that the occupying Turkish state violated international law and said: “We are facing invasion attacks on a daily basis. The occupation is negotiated on the basis of our people and our lands. These are done in the eyes of international states. Against these attacks on our lands and our people, the international states do not speak. ”
