HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) Press Center announced guerrilla actions taken in Heftanin and Xakurkê. The Army shared that 11 occupying Turkish soldiers were killed.
The description of HPG is as follows:
“As part of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Movement, which is ongoing in the Heftanin area of the Media Defense Areas, our YJA Star forces organized an action against the invading Turkish army on December 13 at 14.20 on the Great Conference Hill.
8 soldiers were killed and 2 soldiers were wounded in this action, where enemy positions and shelters were intensively put under fire.”
In another action, the HPG shared:
“Within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movements, our forces organized actions against the occupying Turkish army in Xakurkê region from Media Defense Areas. In this context;
At 14:30 on December 14, our forces organized an action aimed at invaders at Martyr Axin Hill. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where enemy positions and shelters were hit.
On the same day at 15.45, our forces organized an action against the enemy soldiers located on the Martyr Derwesh Hill. Three soldiers were killed in this action where an enemy position on the hill was hit with full accuracy.
After the action, the invading Turkish army removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area with Skorsky helicopters. ”
