HPG (Peoples’ Protection Forces) Press Center announced details of actions taken in Xakurkê by the guerrillas yesterday.
Stating that actions were organised against the occupying Turkish army in the Xakurkê region from the Media Defense Areas on 25 December within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya’s Revolutionary Movement, the HGP shared the following:
“At 10.30, our forces organized an action against the soldiers on Martyr Axin Hill. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action, where enemy positions and shelters were effectively shot.
At 12.30, our forces carried out an action targeting the soldiers on Martyr Axin Hill for the second time. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where the enemy positions on the hill were hit accurately.
At around 14.30 hours after the action, fighter planes belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the area randomly. We did not suffer any loss in these bombings. ”
