Thousands of citizens from the canton of Kobane and the districts of Çelebiyê and Cirin visited the guard tent which was opened by the Eyn Îsa and Girê Spî assemblies today. Accordingly, various assemblies and organisations are set to take guard in the tents for quick retaliation to attacks.
Banners reading, “We are all SDF for our country, we condemn the massacre of children in Til Rifat,” were hung in the tents alongside photos of the children martyred in Til Rifat.
Speeches were given in the tents by the spokesperson of the Assembly of Kobane Canton, Mistefa İbo, Hisên El-Şêx on behalf of the Assembly of the District of Firat and Eyşe Efendi on behalf of the Congress.
In the speeches, it was pointed out that the unity of the people of the region is the signature of success against all attacks and that international societies should take action against the attacks of the Turkish state. “The region is in need of a political solution,” one of the spokespersons said.
