LAVRIO, GREECE
A mass march was organized in Lavrio, Greece to condemn the massacre of children in Til Rifat of Rojava.
Starting at the Lavrio refugee camp, activists held flags of the PKK, KCK, YPG, YPJ and posters of the People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The masses showed great anger towards the massacres being committed against children and civilians, before holding a minutes silence at the Lavrio square.
Burhan Karakoç who made a speech on behalf of Kurdistan Cultural Center, stated that “the Kurdish people are being put through genocide regardless of if the victims are women or children.
Those who said that these attacks were against the PKK, not the Kurds; was the PKK the target in Sheikh Sait, in Halabja, or in Zilan? The PKK resurrected the Kurdish people.
European states are writing on virtual media every day, that the YPG and SDF saved humanity. These conversations should be put into practice, rather than watching the death of these heroes through screens. Take a stand against the massacres!”
The march ended with slogans.
