BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
The Heftanin commandership of the HPG army has issued a warning to the ‘village guards’ collaborating with the Turkish state. The commandership has advised the collaborators to leave the area, stating that they will otherwise be targetted.
Stressing that the guards do not have primary goals, the Commandership stated, “those who contribute to the occupation and play a role in both sustaining and prelonging the occupation will be targeted by our forces.”
The description of the commandership is as follows:
“As it is known, on 23 August, the invading Turkish army launched an occupation operation from the Media Defense Areas towards the Heftanin area. In response to the enemy’s occupation, our forces have resisted heroically and have given historical blows to the troops. During this period of great resistance against the enemy operation in Heftanin, the invading Turkish state, which was defeated by the resistance of our forces, resorted to all kinds of dirty war methods for the region to hide its defeat.
As part of the games of the Turkish state, the policy trying to be implemented is turning the Kurd against the Kurds. In this context, a group of village guards have been brought in to the region to fight against our forces.
With the lessons we have learned from history as the ideological and philosophical Apoist Movement, these dirty plans and calculations of the invaders have always been frustrated. Our forces have so far not targeted village guards brought into the operation area.
We have warned the guards many times, both through the press and through different methods, we have warned that they do not become tools of the enemy’s dirty policy and do not participate in the operations. Yet, some guards persistently come to the operation area. If the operations in the area continue in this way, our forces will take the necessary approach for both the defense and security of the area.
As mentioned earlier, village guards are not our primary goal, but those who contribute to the occupation and play a role in both the perpetuation and maintenance of the occupation will be targeted by our forces.
We are not responsible for the consequences of the steps taken against our forces by the enemy.
We are not responsible for those who continue to mobilize in the region of operation with the false promises of the fascist Turkish state. The area of operation has been declared as a complete forbidden zone, and every counter activity that takes place here will be understood to perpetuate the occupation of the invaders, and accordingly, our forces will take position.
Those who do not take this warning into account are responsible for what will happen. For the last time on this axis, we urge the village guards of Jirki, Sêgırkê, Bêjehê, Mêrgehê, Hedrisê and Roboski to leave the operation area and not to be a tool for these dirty policies of the fascist Turkish state. ”
