People’s Democratic Party (HDP) youth held conferences in Edene and Mersin under the title ‘The Revolutionary Youth of 68: building the spirit of free life.’
A large number of young people attended the conferences held in the provincial organization buildings of the parties.
Speeches were made by the youth following a minutes silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the struggle for democracy. The youth emphasised the importance of raising the struggle. Stating that they will participate in the general conference to be held in Ankara on 12 January 2020, the youth said, “We must take the glorious resistance as a basis by achieving the ideological revolution, by rejecting the ideology of the state openly, by adopting the revolutionary values and taking change and transformation in life as the foundation.”
