After these series of events
, students reacted in an organized way and started to recieve threatens through virtual media and unknown numbers.

“Dean of Literature at Yüzüncü Yıl University Zeki Taştan and Şakir Gözütok, the Head of the Faculty of Theology, harass dozens of our female friends in exchange for Masters degrees. We say no to harassment, and no to the patriarchal mentality!
To the victims; you will never walk alone.
Call for Gathering: In front of the Faculty of Theology
Time: 12.00 Thursday, December 26″
After the exposure of the rapist predators, Zeki Taştan and Şakir Gözütok, the university threatened the students with messages. The university stated that “the faculty will do what is necessary to the administration anyway” and it should be “kept silent.” The students were threatened that they would be expelled from dormitories and their scholarships would be terminated. The messages are as follows:
“Anyone who discloses information on the Private Life of the person shall be punished under Article 134 of the Turkish Penal Code from 1.5 to 3 years. If this act is made public, the penalty will be increased by half. It is clear that this will cause injury to both the theology community and all theology teachers.
The faculty management will do what is necessary. There is no point in hurting our community.
Since the incident itself did not concern the emitters, the Turkish Penal Code entered into an offence of slander according to the law no. 264.”
Another threat sent to the students is as follows:
“Selamun Aleyküm. Tomorrow at 12.00, apparently a march will be made in front of the Faculty of Theology. The Ministry of Youth and Sports has definitive instructions. Participants of the march will be expelled from the dormitory. For your information”
