TIL RIFAT, ROJAVA

Thousands of people from Efrîn gathered in front of the Avrin hospital in the canton of Şehba and held a mass ceremony for 10 civilians, 8 of whom were children and babies killed by the Turkish state in Til Rifat. The masses returned their precious ones to earth after a ceremony dedicated to the martyrs.

The coffins of bodies and unlived lives were carried on the shoulders of the masses through the Fafin district, while the slogans “Şehîd namirin” and “Resistance is Honor” echoed through the streets of Şehba.

Holding olive branches and pictures of the young martyrs of an adominable massacre, banners reading “No to Child massacres, Rojava will not bow, Turkey is occupying our land and slaughtering our children, and Russia remains silent and Turkey is massacring” were carried till the burrial grounds.

In the farewell ceremony, which started with a minutes silence in memory of the martyrs, Hediye Yusif, Member of the Coordination of the Kongra Star, Mihemed Naso, Co-Chair of the Assembly of the Efrîn Canton, Newroz Haşim, Member of the Coordination of the Efrîn Canton, and Mihemed Cuma, Member of the Şehba Canton Assembly, made a speech.

In the speeches made at the farewell ceremony of the 10 civilians, it was emphasized that one of the reasons why the occupying Turkish state targeted the people in the region was to obliterate the peace of the region.

In the continuation of the speeches, it was stated that targeting the civilian people was the target of the future of the people and a crime against humanity.

After the speeches, a child named Xelîl Hisên read a poem dedicated to his friends who were martyred.

The identity of the martyrs was read by KPC-Democratic teachers and certificates of martyrdom were presented to the families.
