AMED, NORTHERN KURDISTAN
According to information received from Amed, 7 villages were raided by the jihadist Turkish state’s occupying soldiers and civilians were randomly tortured.
The names of the villages are as follows: Duger, Alankoz (Yalankoz), Arvali, Kabahıdır, Kılıçkaya, Kırkali and Çakırturmaz.
During the raids organized by the gendarmes, many citizens were detained and was reportedly tortured during detention. Ismet Akar, who was detained in the village of Dugerwas left with a broken arm.
It was reported that Süleyman Bırak, Mahmut Bırak and Cafer Bırak from the same family were beaten and tortured in the Pirinçlik neighborhood of Kayapınar.
The invading gendarmes who raided an empty house in Pirinçlik shot the dog of the house owners.
While the entrances and exits of the villages were besieged by the regime, searches continued at noon.
The names of the detainees are as follows: “Murat Çetin, Fırat Çetin, İsmet and Hakan Yıldız, İsmet Akar, Mehmet Akyüz, Nail Toprak, Abdullah and İbrahim Çiftçi, Abdulkadir Eken and his son, Abdulkadir Yagar, Mahmut Bırak and Ahmet Derse.”
