6 SDF Martyrs sent off to immortality in Dêrik

With a mass ceremony held in Dêrik, 5 SDF fighters who were martyred in the Honor Resistance were sent off to eternity.

Hundreds of families carried the funerals of the martyrs Ferat Bozgurt (Agir Agirî), Çekdar Ayvalîk (Arteş Arkes), Resûl (Delîl Çinar), Aydin Akar (Mahir Avaşîn) and Welat Feysel (Rûbar) from Şehit Hogir Hospital, to the Dêrik Martyrs burrial grounds.

PYD Co-chair Eyşe Hiso, who spoke at the funeral ceremony that started with a minute of silence, expressed her condolences to the families of the martyrs.

Saying that the Turkish state aims to destroy all the gains of the people of the region, Eyse said that the North and East Syrian peoples will increase their resistance against the occupation.

After the speeches, SDF warrior named Esmet Îsmaîl (Rizgar Dêrik) was declared martyred in the Efrîn Resistance.

At the ceremony, the martyrs’ testimony documents were read and delivered to their families. The funerals of the martyrs were buried in the company of their mothers.
