The Assembly of the Martyr Families in Aleppo organized a mass farewell ceremony for the YPJ fighter Sîlvana Intîqam (Newroz Sarqot) who was martyred in Girê Spi on 12 October.
The ceremony held in Martyrs Square in the Rûbar Qamişlo neighborhood, where Eytan Resho and Star Kongreya Star management, Hediye Yusif, made speeches on behalf of the Martyr Families Assembly.
In the speeches, commitment to the martyrs was emphasised and the resistance of the fighters and the people against the invading Turkish state attacks in North and East Syria was highlighted.
At the end of the ceremony, after the martyr’s identity document was read and presented to her family, the ceremony ended with the slogans “Bijî berxwedan” (long live resistance) and“ Şehîd namirin” (martyrs are immortal).
