MINBIC, ROJAVA
The Minbic Women’s Assembly has begun to organize meetings to inform women on the 25th of November, the Day of Combating Violence Against Women.
Tens of women from the region attended the meeting held in Eyn Camûs Village. Speaking at the meeting that started with a minutes-silence in respect of all massacred women, Minbic Women’s Assembly Administrator Hale El-Hesen, evaluating the meaning of the 25th of November, said that women should be organized against violence. “Today, in Rojava Kurdistan and northern Syria, women are faced with the brutal persecution of the invading Turkish state and gangs,” said Hale.
Ibtisam Ebdulqadir, spokesperson of the Women’s Assembly, made evaluations on the types of violence against women.
The Minbic Women’s Assembly will continue its meetings for 7 days.
