HESEKÊ, ROJAVA

With the brutal attacks of the invading Turkish state and its gangs on Rojava and Northern Syria, hundreds of thousands of civilians were forced to leave their homes.

According to the data of the Autonomous Administration, 478 civilians were killed and more than 1070 civilians were injured in the occupation attacks. The number of those forced to migrate due to the attacks has reached 300 thousand.

More than 1,800 immigrants live in the Washokani Camp, 12 km west of Hesekê. More than 20 families are brought to the camp every day.

The Washokani Camp Management also collaborated with the Municipalities and Environment Committee of the Hesekê canton and started building infrastructure such as sewerage, bathing, drinking water, cafeteria construction and partitioning according to the number of people.
