AMED, ROJAVA

The occupation operation launched 8 days ago in the mountainous region of Amed, Muş and Çewlîg triangle continues.

Occupation soldiers, special forces and village guards were dispersed to the regions of the Pasur (Kulp) district of Yayla (Eskar), the neighborhood of Geliya Deyika, Geliye Mezraxuş and Dorşin Mountain outskirts, Çiyayê Sere Sipi Hovîtê, Mezrika Zovan, Kerengan, Sen Yayla and Reylê .

There are few settlements in the region where the operation was carried out due to villages that were burnt by the Turkish state in the 1990s. Those who remained in their villages are subjected to General Information Screening (GBT) checks before being denied the right to go home.

As a result of bullets being fired to the operation area, many forrests were burnt.

According to local sources, many village collaborators were sent from Xiya region to the operation area yesterday evening. The village guards sent to the area of the operation were used for surveillence of the area. The operation in the region is air-supported.
