TIL TEMIR, ROJAVA
A seminar was held on 25 November to combat violence against women in Til Temir. The seminar started at 11am with the leadership of Kongra Star (Peoples’ Congress) and Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwan (Young Women’s Union).
Hesekê Canton spokesman, Afaf Heskê, gave a seminar to the women of Til Temir on violence against women and the importance of fighting against violence. Women’s rights, early marriages and methods of struggle were discussed.
The seminar ended after questions were answered. The women ended their seminar by chanting “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Woman, Life, Freedom).”
