EYN ÎSA, ROJAVA
Thousands gathered in an Eyn Isa action from different cities in Rojava and Northern Syria to deliver a single message: Eyn Isa will not be occupied by the Turkish state or it’s jihadist proxies.
During a march from the Beca Junction, the peoples condemned the invasion attacks in Rojava Kurdistan and Northern Syria by the invading Turkish state and their gangs, demanding that the invading gangs leave the region immediately.
Peoples poured to the junction from Reqa, Dêrazor, Kobanê, Minbic, Tebqa, as well as those from Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî who were forced to emigrate due to the occupation attacks. The peoples carried posters of the martyrs of revolution, chanting “Long live the SDF” and “No to Turkish occupation.”
In the speeches made during the march, EU states were criticized that they had not taken a serious attitude against the invasion attacks of the Turkish state.
Speaking at the action, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of the Northern Syria, Abid Hamid Al-Mihbas, stressed that the SDF is fighting against the terror supported by the Turkish state. Al-Mihbaş, who stated that the occupying Turkish state was trying to occupy Syrian territory under the name of ‘creating a safe-zone’, expressed that “after the defeat of ISIS, the gangs connected to Erdoğan and his army started to attack the Syrian territory under the pretext of‘ safe zone ’. Erdogan and his gangs aim to change the demographic structure in northern and eastern Syria. They create unrest and try to break the people.”
Addressing the Syrian regime, al-Mihbash asked that dialogue is implemented. Al-Mihbash said that the regime should stop blaming other parties and emphasised that the regime should get rid of it’s old mentality. Finally, addressing the Russian state, al-Mihbash said that Russia should not act biased.
Later, Hamid El-Ferec, one of the opinion leaders of the region, said that they would act with the SDF until the end for the construction of a democratic society. Addressing the Syrian regime, El-Ferec reminded that it is in everyones best interest that action is taken against the occupation plans of the Turkish state.
Addressing the coalition states, Girê Spî Assembly Co-President, Hêvîn Îsmaîl stated that serious action is not being taken against the invasion attacks by the Turkish state. Hêvîn pointed out that the Turkish state and its gangs are trying to change the demographic structure. Saying that the Turkish state and its gangs should be removed from northern and eastern Syria, Hêvîn expressed that “thousands of civilians migrated due to the brutal attacks of the invading Turkish state and that these should be stopped.”
The march ended with slogans saluting the SDF’s Resistance of Honor.
