History is a unique source of instructions. Whether it is defined as knowledge, science, or experience; if one does not learn from the teachings of history, it’s existence becomes hollow. Taking a share from this great treasure starts with understanding that today is not disconnected from yesterday. Yesterday is our history.
While the truth clearly expresses this, the reality of the masses who live far from this cannot be overlooked. If this is a form of voluntary slavery is debatable, but the fact remains that the beast which assures us we can be whoever we like at any given moment, so long as we want to, is being fed by none other than us.
This monster, we named ‘State,’ is behind all the wickedness occurring on our planet today. Created on a frigid night in Mesopotamia some 5,000 years ago, a bolt of lightning would rip through murky black skies. Smoke would rise from the bubbling cauldron of the jealous god followed by the ear-piercing words: “Let there be State!”
State would be assigned to annihilate all societies and communities, along with all the values passed down from the goddesses who had threatened the man’s newly found throne. Becoming greedier for dictatorship, State would grow uncontrollable, plotting to become all-powerful. To gods detriment, State’s desperacy would infest all corners of the planet ravaging like a cloud of thick dark smoke, it would seep through the chimneys of every home and mutilate every cell in the bodies of the poor public until the pandemic of passivism would eventually penetrate their hearts. This illness was like no other, taking a proportionately greater toll of life than any other known epidemic or war up to that time.
The illness’ signs are initially psychological. The first characteristic, Fear, would cause anyone who had breathed from the thick black smoke to lose the ability to react or resist. And just like that, State had guaranteed that no one would stand against him, voluntarily or involuntarily.
The second characteristic of this illness was called Capitalism. Also affecting the neurons of the brain, Capitalism would trigger opposite reactions in the neurotransmitter mechanism of the brain. Modern genetic analyses indicate that sufferers of the illness would exhibit extreme signs of affection towards lifeless objects such as spoons and cars; while they eventually grow detached from anything animately existent.
In the case that both symptoms are not treated quickly, the spirit of the human anatomy is said to permanently part from the body which continues to function per normal.
Till this day, many fearless warriors had set out to the lair of the hideous creature, walking barefoot for months on end in scorching heat. Passing through all the deserts of the world, climbing all the mountains, swimming all its oceans, these valiant fighters were determined to bring home the head of the beast. But with each passing day, State would grow stronger. He would place 7 valleys, 7 tests, as an obstacle to the brave warriors. Should all 7 valleys be passed, State would surrender his almighty kingdom and endless power. Countless armies were decimated on this path to freedom, humanity was on the verge of obliteration when the final warrior had succeeded and passed through to the 7th valley, the Valley of History.
Travelling to the furthest and last valley, the warrior had been training since birth to meet the creature. Working day and night, the warrior had become the most professional fighter known to humankind. Almost at grasping distance to the light at the end of the tunnel, the warrior would step to the angel guarding the valley, ready to hear the final question before being declared the biggest hero in history. The remorseful warrior would be grabbed by the ferocious beast in the flick of an eye after answering incorrectly.
But all hope was not lost. On 4 April, 1948, a boy was born in a small village in Riha. This boy would grow to be the hope which humanity does not know it needs.
