ROJAVA, WESTERN KURDISTAN

SDF Press Center have released an update on the past 24-hours of the Cenga Rojava Resistance, reporting an  increase in the attacks of invading Turkish state and gangs. The statement contained the following:

Til Temir

“The invading Turkish army attacked Dawûdiyê and Êrişa villages with heavy weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles. The invading Turkish state attacked civilian settlements with the support of reconnaissance aircraft and numerous gangs.

Following the response of the Syrian Military Assembly to the attacks, violent clashes errupted. As a result, a group of Syriac military fighters were martyred while others were wounded.

In the village of Êrişa, the occupying Turkish army bombed civilian areas with unmanned aerial vehicles. Again, the villages of Abûş and Dawûdiyê were hit by the invading army with cannons, tanks and unmanned aerial vehicles.

In order to widen the occupation, the occupying Turkish state and gangs bombed Eyn Îsa and surroundings as well as the international M-4 road with unmanned aerial vehicles, tanks and artillery.

Through the attacks by gangs, the Turkish state aimed to force the people in the region to flee in order to occupy the villages, replacing civilians with the families and supporters of Turkey in Syria.

As a result of an attack, the Syrian Military Assembly members who were located on the furthest battle-front outside of the areas agreed in the cease-fire deal, two of our friends were martyred and six others were wounded.”
