ATHENS, GREECE

Hundreds of Kurdish people and their friends protested the invasion of Rojava by the invading Turkish state.

Hundreds of Kurdistanis gathered in front of the Municipality of Athens upon the call of the Kurdistan Cultural Center and the Revolutionary Youth Movement, as well as anarchist and left, socialist groups, and marched with slogans.

Activists carried posters of the Peoples’ Leader Abdullah Öcalan, flags of the YPG / YPJ, and banners describing the occupation attacks of the Turkish state and the Cenga Rojava Resistance along the main streets of the city with slogans condemning the invasion attacks and the attacks of the Iranian regime on the Kurdish people.

During the march, Greek leaflets were distributed on the occupation attacks, while the people passing by supported the march with applause and whistles.

After the march that ended in front of Syntagma Square, speeches were made on behalf of the Kurdistan Cultural Center and the left, socialist groups.

The action ended with slogans after the speeches.
