DÊRİK, ROJAVA
Russia and the occupying Turkish state began joint patrols in Rojava Kurdistan and Northern Syria per the agreement reached on October 22nd. The masses of the region who disapproved of the patrols being carried out by the occupying Turkish army and Russian military police greeted the convoy with stones. Soldiers of the invading Turkish state attacked the people in Sermisaxê village of Gırkê Legê and killed a civilian named Serxwebûn Ali.
Serxwebûn Bengin Ali’s family made a statement expressing that Russia is responsible for the martyrdom of their child.
Explaining that the “The people of the region have legitimately rejected the violations of the Turkish army in the northern and eastern Syrian cities and villages,” the parent informed that the Russia-Turkey joint patrols began on 8 November in Çilax, Girkan.
“When the joint patrol began touring in the Aliyan area, our son and the public reacted to the massacres of the Turkish state against civilians, the passage of the Turkish army’s panzers, and the forced migration of thousands of citizens. For this reason, the Turkish military slaughtered our son Serxebûn Bengîn Elî with a panzer.
After the Turkish state panzer crushed our son, we took him to the hospital in Dêrik. Despite all the interventions, he could not be saved. Therefore, we hold Russia, the other interlocutor of the agreement, responsible for the martyrdom of our son Serxwebûn. ”
