Hundreds of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger members visited the family of Serxwebûn Bengin Eli, who was slaughtered by the Turkish state in Girkê Legê.
The youth marched to the commemoration ceremony of Martyr Serxwebûn set up in the village of Til Cemal in Girkê Legê, the birthplace of Bengin Eli, carrying a banner reading “Serxwebun is the symbol of the Resistance of Honor.”
The youth held photographs of Martyr Serxwebûn, and the flags of the SDF, the Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women’s Union, greeting the resistance of SDF with slogans.
Speaking after a minute of silence in the tent of respect for the martyrs of resistance, Syrian Youth Movement Assembly Management, Sadiq Mihemed, started his speach by saying that “the resistance of the SDF defeated the fascism of the Turkish state in Northern and Eastern Syria.”
Mihemed said that the aim of the invading Turkish state was to attack the gains of the people of Rojava Kurdistan and Northern Syria, “the Revolutionary Youth Movement will continue to fight in Rojava Kurdistan and Northern Syria to end Turkish fascism and occupation.”
Speaking on behalf of the family of martyrs, Zozan Eli added, “the people of North and East Syria does not accept the presence of invaders trying to enter our territory by crushing our bodies.”
Martyr Serxwebûn Eli’s mother said, “I welcome you all. I congratulate the blood of Martyr Serxwebûn and all other friends who have risen their weapons to fight for leader Apo. Serxwebûn was not only my son, not only my martyr, but is also the son and martyr of a people. ”
