Şehit Baran Dersim Revenge Units made a written statement and shared the details of actions held on 17, 18 and 21 November in Wan.
The Unit shared that “on 17 November, our unit carried out an action with hand-made explosives against police teams who were dispatched the Sihke neighborhood of Ipekyolu district of Van after reports of theft. Five police officers were injured in this action. As the neighborhood was blockaded, our unit safely returned to their base.”
Continuing, the Unit shared that on the 17th and 18th of November, “in the Xaçort district of Van’s Ipekyolu district, our units set fire to a road. The action against the enemy was made with grenades and handmade bombs. We were unable to clarify enemy losses. For two nights, helicopters roamed the neighborhood and were blockaded. Our units have returned safely to their bases.”
Lastly, on 21 November, “our unit carried out an action with hand-made explosives in the Sihke neighborhood of İpekyolu district of Van. The train and rails were damaged and the train service was terminated. ”
