IZMIR, TURKEY
Adding to the evergrowing list of economic suicides in Turkey, ‘the cyanide murders‘, another incident of suicide barely touched Turkish headlines after the Ministry of Finance illegalised negative perceptions on Turkey economy.
Today, another suicide was reported in Izmir. After his wife said “Let’s go to the market,” Ali Kabasakal responded “Wait, let me take a shower,” before killing himself with his shotgun in the house bathroom.
₺1.5 was found in the pocket of Ali Kabasakal during his autopsy.
He was buried in the Yenmiş Village in İzmir.
