HPG Liasion Centre shared the identities of 6 guerrillas who had reached martyrdom on 28 May in Xakurke.
“On 27 May 2019, the invading Turkish army launched an invasion from the Media Defense Areas towards Xakurkê region and faced the historical resistance of our forces. In the clashes and bombings between our forces and the occupying Turkish army on 28 May, our comrades Deniz, Fırat, Marwan, Soro, Şiyar and Yusuf reached martyrdom.
The identity of the guerrillas who have been martyred are as follows:

HPG continued, “Comrades Deniz, Firat, Marwan, Soro, Şiyar and Yusuf fought bravely against the occupying army during the occupation offensive launched by the occupying Turkish army in the Xakurê area.
Defending the values of the people of Kurdistan with great faith and will, our comrades have hit the enemy heavily in this historical resistance and each of them has fulfilled their historical responsibilities as professional guerrillas. Our comrades, who play pioneering roles in every field, are engraved in the memory of their comrades with their labor and sacrifice.
We wish to express our condolences to the patriotic peoples of Kurdistan and especially to the precious families of our dear, heroic comrades while promising to take the flags of freedom of our comrades Deniz, Fırat, Marwan, Soro, Şiyar and Yusuf and crown them with a Free Leader – Free Kurdistan.”
