HPG Press Contact Center made the following statement regarding an action in which 13 occupying Turkish soldiers were killed:
“At 11.30, our forces carried out an action against a convoy of armoured vehicles of the invading Turkish army moving from the Astenga Reş outpost in the district of Gever (Yüksekova) in Hakkari to the Wargenima outpost.
In this action, which was organized by sabotage tactic, it is evaluated that a Hedgehog type armoured vehicle was destroyed completely and 13 Turkish soldiers were killed. ”
