Despite being caught with 2 kilos of drugs in his vehicle in Manisa, head of Izmir Police Department Zafer was released at the first hearing on October 12, claiming that he is only a consumer. Zafer had previously been acquited in the FETÖ case too.
On June 9, fascist policemen stopped a civilian vehicle in Akhisar, Manisa. Two pounds of skunk and ten pills were found in the car belonging to the head of Izmir Police Department, Zafer.
At the first hearing, Zafer said that they were not selling the drugs, they were “just smokers.” Necip Boğaçhan, detained alongside Zafer, said he had been using the drugs since the age of 15, said he had “bought the drugs in bulk because it is cheaper.” Fascist Police Chief Zafer concluded the performance by sharing “this shame was enough for me, it was the greatest lesson of my life. I certainly had no intention of selling.”
