Republican Senator Graham who commented on the video Erdoğan showed at the oval office about SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdî, said: “Do you want me to show another video that reveals what your soldiers have been doing to the Kurds?”
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, attracting attention to the war crimes Turkey has been committing in North and East Syria, made a press conference in Washington and told about their meeting with Erdoğan to the journalists.
Graham stated that he told Erdoğan if he would like him to show another video revealing what Erdoğan’s soldiers have been doing to the Kurds.
Another republican Senator attending the meeting, Rick Scott, stated that the video did not convince the senators who believe SDF is a crucial ally in defeating ISIS otherwise. Scott, noting that Erdoğan’s video did not convince anyone, stated that unlike Trump has been declaring, the relations with Turkey is pretty difficult at the moment.
