Fascist Turkish police occupy HDP buildings and hang Turkish flags

KOCAELİ, TURKEY
The fascist Turkish police entered and raided and occupied the HDP Kocaeli province and district buildings and hung the Turkish flag on pin boards. Many people were detained in the new political police operations.
Police raided Kocaeli HDP buildings and members’ homes early this morning in the city the center and districts of Kocaeli.
HDP Kocaeli Provincial co-chair Leyla Aygun, HDP Party Assembly member Mehmet Yalçınkaya and a large number of people, including Engün Güleser and district co-chairs were taken into custody.
HDP Provincial Treasurer Irfan Demirkaya was detained in his house by police and then taken to the HDP provincial building, where a search was carried out. A laptop computer and 3 desktop computers were seized.
According to the latest information, a total of 20 people were taken into custody.
A Turkish flag was hung on the pin board.
The detainees were taken to Kocaeli Police Department.
