Martyr Tekosin Amed Revenge Units have released a statement about an action held in Merdin. According to information obtained, the Revenge Units carried out the explosion which occurred during the passage of armored vehicles on the Silk Road in the Nisêbîn district of Mêrdîn last night.
A hand-made explosive had detonated on the road during the passage of the armored vehicles carrying the occupying Turkish policemen. 2 invading police were injured in the explosion.
According to the Revenge Units, on the night of November 29, the Units “undertook an action against the enemy vehicle patrolling between Nisêbîn-Duruca of Mêrdîn. The patrolling, armored enemy vehicle was completely destroyed, and as far as our units could detect, 3 invading Special Operations Police were killed and 2 invaders were injured.
Another armored vehicle behind the destroyed armored vehicle escaped, leaving the dead and wounded.
The enemy closed the Silk Road and randomly fired at the surroundings. The state-owned media outlets reported the explosion as an accident, and stated that two invading policemen were wounded. The enemy has started an occupation operation in and around Nisêbîn.
