TİL TEMİR, ROJAVA
With the invasion attacks launched by the occupying Turkish state against Efrîn on 20 January 2018, thousands of citizens from Efrîn were displaced and many were forced to emigrate to Shehba while others moved to the Til Nesrî village of Til Temir.
Now, the citizens who have been subjected to the attacks of the invading Turkish state and their gangs are face-to-face with a second migration threat. Speaking to our agency, the citizens of Efrîn said that they would never accept the occupation and migration in these lands.
Serbest Hemid, a young man who emigrated from Efrîn and settled in the village of Til Nesrî, said: “The occupying Turkish state wants us to emigrate again today. At first, he attacked Efrîn and plundered our house, our village, and wants to do the same in Til Temir of Rojava on this day. Today, Kurdish, Arab, Armenian and Syriac people are resisting these attacks. We will fight to the end against the invasion attacks.”
Rodin Mihmed, who had to migrate to Til Nesri village from Raco district of Efrîn, stated that “the Turkish state can attack as much as it likes, we will not leave our land despite such intense attacks.”
Feysel Evdo, who works as a grocery in the village, said that they would stand by the SDF until the end: “We condemn the attacks of the occupying Turkish state. The Turkish state wants to pass the Kurdish people through another genocide. He attacked Efrîn yesterday, and all of Rojava on this day. We will stand by our forces who heroically resist these attacks. We will resist to the end of the SDF, which is composed of Arab, Kurdish, Armenian people.“
