Leaders and sheikhs in Dêrazor and Şeddade called for the duty to protect the territory against the Turkish occupation. Dozens of young people answered the call made by the leaders by picking arms.
Ela Xelef, a member of the youth stated that “The occupying Turkish state is killing civilians without any discrimination. Serêkaniyê, and Girê Spî also are proof of this, causing hundreds of thousands of people to migrate while killing children and women,” he said.
“We are on the side of the SDF to fight against the occupying Turkish state,” he added.
Husên Denho said that the aim of the Turkish state was a massacre and said: “All citizens should participate in this campaign to resist the massacres. ”
