COLOGNE, GERMANY –
On the occasion of World Kobanê Day on November 1, an action was organized in Cologne, Germany. Youth gathered in Zülpicher Square and marched with a banner reading “Defend Rojava” and “Rise up for Rojava.”
During the march, the youth protested German arms support of the fascist Turkish state in the occupation of Rojava. The march ended with a fire lit in Luxembourg Square.
The action ended with a call for participation in the action which will start in front of the Dom Church on the World Rojava Resistance Day, 2 November.
